Eligibility Criteria for School Connect Online Olympiad

Age: Students of classes 1 to 12th are eligible to appear for the 1st level Olympiads. Students who qualify for the 2nd level exam include.

(a) Top 5% of students’ class wise, who appear for the 1st level exam,

(b) State wise top 25 rank holders class wise, and

(c) Class toppers from each participating school where at least 10 students from a class appear in the exam & scores 50% qualifying marks. Students from classes 1 and 2 are not required to appear for the 2nd level exam and are ranked based on their performance in the first level exam.

New Update AWARDS and RECOGNITIONS 2022-23 for School Connect Online Olympiads

The following awards will be provided to the winners of Olympiads being conducted during the academic year 2022-23:

AWARDS/SCHOLARSHIPS – STUDENTS

AWARDS Important Updates

• Classes one and two - International & Zonal topper awards will be provided to 1st level winners as exams for these classes are single level exams.
• Zonal Awards and International awards are applicable after stage 2 exam for all Olympiad, other than Coding, Reasoning, AI, GK and English Award.
• Exam winners will be entitled to any higher winning level award.
• International Award winners will get awards based on their International Ranking, next rank holder to them will be applicable for Zonal Award.

Special Category Award – For students with their outstanding performance will be entitled to “Hall of Fame Award with International Ranking Award”.

In case two or more students achieve the same international rank, cash award in the applicable category will be distributed as under:

• For up to 4 students getting the same rank, award amount will be distributed proportionately and other applicable awards.
• In case 5 or more students get the same rank, in lieu of cash award, each winner will be *Medals are Gold / Silver / Bronze colour plated as applicable.

Note –

1. Certification of Participation to all students.
2. Certificate of Merit to all Merit rank holders in 1st Level Exam.
3. In Stage – 2 all participants will get Gold Medal.

Detailed Performance Report (DPR) for each participating student in digital format.

• Every student who appears in any School Connect Online Olympiad is provided with a Detailed performance report (DPR).
• DPR is a detailed analysis of students' learning and exam attempt and its preparation.
• DPR gives students a complete understanding of misconception analysis, common mistakes, and improvement reports.
• The objective of DPR is to provide comparative analysis before exam and after exam report, with the help of DPR a regular diagnosis of exam preparation can be done.

How to apply

• Class: You need to be a student in Classes 1 to 12 to be eligible for this exam.

• Boards: You must be a student of SSC, ICSE or CBSE boards.

• Qualifying for second level examination:

The top 5% of students (class-wise) also benchmark percentile score who appear for the first level exam.

Class toppers from each participating school; where at least 10 students participate and score a minimum of 50%.

• Year of attempt: As long as you’re a student enrolled in any of Classes 1 to 12, you can apply for International Life Skills Olympiad
• Number of attempts: You can only attempt once.
• Year of attempt: As long as you’re a student enrolled in any of Classes 1 to 12, you can apply for International Life Skills Olympiad

Registration for International Life Skills Olympiad

Here is the registration process for International Life Skills Olympiad:

1. The prospectus containing the registration forms is sent to all schools registered with the Science Olympiad Foundation.
2. Unregistered schools can request a prospects by sending an email to https://forms.gle/pjErK47j6cV6tsDfA  or email to olympiad@schoolconnectonline.com
3. Your school's coordinating teacher will generate students' roll numbers as per the guidelines given.
4. A nominal participation fee is charged from each student in your school.

Qualification for International Life Skills Olympiad

Based on your performance in the first level exam, you are given a rank. This rank determines whether you qualify for the second level exam or not.

If two students score the same marks, ranks are awarded to the student scoring higher marks in priority sections as mentioned below:

If students score the same marks in all sections, they are given the same rank.
