AWARDS Important Updates
- Classes one and two - International & Zonal topper awards will be provided to 1st level winners as exams for these classes are single level exams.
- Zonal Awards and International awards are applicable after stage 2 exam for all Olympiad, other than Coding, Reasoning, AI, GK and English Award.
- Exam winners will be entitled to any higher winning level award.
- International Award winners will get awards based on their International Ranking, next rank holder to them will be applicable for Zonal Award.
Special Category Award – For students with their outstanding performance will be entitled to “Hall of Fame Award with International Ranking Award”.
In case two or more students achieve the same international rank, cash award in the applicable category will be distributed as under:
- For up to 4 students getting the same rank, award amount will be distributed proportionately and other applicable awards.
- In case 5 or more students get the same rank, in lieu of cash award, each winner will be *Medals are Gold / Silver / Bronze colour plated as applicable.
Note –
- Certification of Participation to all students.
- Certificate of Merit to all Merit rank holders in 1st Level Exam.
- In Stage – 2 all participants will get Gold Medal.

- DPR is a detailed analysis of students' learning and exam attempt and its preparation.

Eligibility Criteria for School Connect Online Olympiad
Age: Students of classes 1 to 12th are eligible to appear for the 1st level Olympiads. Students who qualify for the 2nd level exam include.
(a) Top 5% of students’ class wise, who appear for the 1st level exam,
(b) State wise top 25 rank holders class wise, and
(c) Class toppers from each participating school where at least 10 students from a class appear in the exam & scores 50% qualifying marks.
Note – Students from classes 1 and 2 are not required to appear for the 2nd level exam and are ranked based on their performance in the first level exam.
Olympiad Registration
- Class: You need to be a student in Classes 1 to 12 to be eligible for this exam.
- Boards: You must be a student of SSC, ICSE or CBSE boards.
- Qualifying for second level examination:
The top 5% of students (class-wise) also benchmark percentile score who appear for the first level exam.
Class toppers from each participating school; where at least 10 students participate and score a minimum of 50%.
- Year of attempt: As long as you’re a student enrolled in any of Classes 1 to 12, you can apply for International Science Olympiad and IMO or International Maths Olympiad)
- Number of attempts: You can only attempt one time in a year for any olympiad with 2 qualifying stages.
- Year of attempt: As long as you’re a student enrolled in any of Classes 1 to 12, you can apply for International Science Olympiad and IMO or International Maths Olympiad once in every academic year.
Olympiad and it’s importance
Clarity of concepts:
Olympiad exams are all about getting the concept right. Basic knowledge is built on the foundation provided in early years of learning. It is only when the concepts are cleared, students can comprehend a variety of questions. Conceptual understanding forms the basis of acquiring good grip over topics.
Prepares for other competitions:
Olympiads help to prepare students for future competitions. It creates a good working knowledge on the type of questions asked. Higher education requires students to appear for various national level entrance tests. It becomes easy for students who have already attempted such exams beforehand.
Boosts self-confidence:
Olympiad exams motivate students to perform better each time. This increases self-confidence and gives students the power to tackle more such challenges in the best possible way.

All subjects of Olympiads include logical reasoning as one of its important segments. These segments open the thinking horizon of students. Students can be asked questions on number series, alphabet sequences, blood relations, diagrams and so on. It ensures that students use their intellect in the most efficient manner.
